Mini Retreat @ Home

When life feels a bit out of control and nothing is quite what you are used then find a quiet spot at home and escape to our mini retreat @ home.

This mini retreat will help release tension, leaving you feeling relaxed and calm. We will centre the body and mind through 1.5 amazing hours of Dru yoga, relaxation and breathing techniques. There will be a chance to chat and spend time with like-minded people.

You will experience elements of yoga that you don’t usually get the chance to in a weekly class. The key is to enjoy an element of yoga that helps you stretch, de-stress and embrace some ‘me’ time. They are a great way to expand and compliment your regular yoga practice; or are equally great to do as standalone sessions, even if you’ve never done yoga before.

The mini retreats are suitable for all levels and abilities, including complete beginner; they are aimed at restoring balance in your body, helping you to build strength and stamina while also enjoying a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Baby Yoga

In these fun and interactive sessions you will learn yoga stretches for both you and your baby whilst meeting other parents and babies in your area. I will share with you my top tips as a new mum and how yoga has helped both me and my baby.

We will work on helping your baby to develop it’s natural movement and help them to stretch out after being in car seats, prams and other equipment. All sessions are baby-led so if you or your baby needs to rest you can, don’t worry if your baby is having an off day they are still welcome to come if they are upset.

We will also target problem areas for parents/carers including strengthening the pelvic floor, easing tension from the shoulders and lower back, alongside including some valuable relaxation time for you!

If that’s not enough we also follow *EYFS and SEN guidelines so our sessions are educational and safe ensuring all of the babies’ senses are stimulated.

Baby Yoga can help with:

  • Aiding digestion
  • Relieving colic
  • Relieving constipation
  • Promoting better sleep
  • Improving strength and co-ordination
  • Improving flexibility of the spine and joints

Mrs Joanne Mullarkey
