Pain Management sessions in Bradford and online
“Many people get anxious about back pain, especially when it doesn’t get better as fast as they expect. Stress can aggravate and prolong pain. You cannot always avoid stress, but you can learn to reduce its effects by controlled breathing, muscle relaxation and mental calming techniques.”
– The Back Book by Martin Roland et al.
In recent years, our understanding of pain, and how it manifests in the body and mind has developed rapidly. We now understand that pain isn’t simply a response to a physical pathology, but that our minds and bodies are interconnected, meaning that our emotional wellbeing can have a huge impact on a person’s experience of pain in the whole system.
Movement is a powerful tool to help break the pain cycle, not only for symptom relief but healing too. It is normal to feel anxiety around the idea of moving when in pain which is why seeking out support and advice can be really helpful.
A whole body approach to pain management
Our approach combines gentle movement with relaxation and mindfulness techniques in a friendly group or 1-1 setting.
Sessions include research proven Dru yoga back -care and wellbeing practices, with RYC® core strength and mobility exercises. They are suitable for most people with chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia or MSK conditions and are specifically designed to help people manage their pain and improve their overall wellbeing.

- £30 for 4 weeks (£7.50 per week)
- £20 per month (£5 per week)

- Free Pass
Purchasing any of the above passes supports the sustainability of these sessions and will allow them to continue beyond the scope of the initial funding award.
