In these hour long classes Jenny teaches you techniques that will nourish your body. In the current environment these are conducted via Zoom with opportunity for some Q&A at the end of each class. The sessions include homework video clips from Jenny for those that want to practice between sessions

RYC® Level 1

These classes are vital for building the foundational understanding for how to restore your core.

We will perform whole body exercises to retrain your core and pelvic floor to be reflexive and functional for your everyday movements both on and off the mat.

We will work on breathing patterns, posture and alignment using cues to help you effectively use your body with love.

You will be amazed at how such small movements work your body so effectively.

Online Live Dru Yoga

If you’re feeling stressed and are missing your regular yoga class then worry not I have moved the Tuesday evening class to a virtual class.

I have kept class numbers small so that you can still enjoy a tailored experience and get feedback on what you are doing. We are currently focusing on stress relief to help you through this challenging time.

If you need a class where you have children running around in the back this is the one for you!

Whether you are a regular to one of my classes or have fancied coming but distance has previously been a barrier, well now you can join us. So far the feedback has been great!

When life feels a bit out of control and nothing is quite what you are used then find a quiet spot at home and escape to our mini retreat @ home.

This mini retreat will help release tension, leaving you feeling relaxed and calm. We will centre the body and mind through 1.5 amazing hours of Dru yoga, relaxation and breathing techniques. There will be a chance to chat and spend time with like-minded people.

You will experience elements of yoga that you don’t usually get the chance to in a weekly class. The key is to enjoy an element of yoga that helps you stretch, de-stress and embrace some ‘me’ time. They are a great way to expand and compliment your regular yoga practice; or are equally great to do as standalone sessions, even if you’ve never done yoga before.

The mini retreats are suitable for all levels and abilities, including complete beginner; they are aimed at restoring balance in your body, helping you to build strength and stamina while also enjoying a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Many people appreciate Dru because anyone can do it, regardless of age, body shape or ability. Dru is a graceful and potent form of yoga. It is based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. Using classical yoga postures, sequences, breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques we help you keep mind, body and soul healthy and in balance. Back Care Workshop

Dru Yoga Back Care Workshop

Back pain is a very common problem but 85% of people who go to see their GP don’t have a specific diagnosis.

Have you been told that you have non-specific back pain, a muscular or mechanical problem or a sprain? Then this workshop if for you!

This 2½ hr workshop will:

  • Include A Dru Yoga Back Care class. This is one of the world’s first evidence-based yoga programmes for preventing and relieving back pain, designed by physiotherapists, osteopaths, yoga therapists and GP’s
  • Help you understand how your normal movement patterns and habits can aggravate your back as well as what can relieve the pain.
  • Give you a brief overview of the anatomy and physiology of your back, dispelling some of the myths around movement and low back pain
  • Help you to learn how to re-educate your core muscles to reflexively engage
  • Offer practical exercises which will help you manage your pain
  • Provide handouts and videos to help you practice these skills at home to re-educate your muscles.
  • And includes lots of Relaxation and healthy cake!
